Open Binge Reader, choose Add books, select files you have the right to use, review the detected title and author, choose a library, and finish the upload. Wait for processing to complete before opening the book.
Choose readable files
Start with files you legally own and can open without another store app. Binge Reader accepts common ebook, document, comic, and audiobook formats, but an ACSM download or a DRM-protected store file is not the readable book itself.
Review before finalizing
The upload workspace reads the filename and embedded metadata. Correct the title, author, series, and cover when needed, then choose the destination library. This small review keeps poor filenames from becoming permanent catalog entries.
Check the finished book
Wait for the item to move out of processing, open its details, and launch the appropriate reader. For a large batch, verify one example of each format before assuming the rest rendered correctly.
The details, at a glance.
| Consider | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Prepare | EPUB, PDF, CBZ, CBR, M4B, MP3, or another supported file |
| Add books | Select one file or a batch |
| Review | Confirm metadata and destination library |
| Verify | Open a finished item in its reader |
A few things worth asking.
Can Binge Reader remove DRM from a purchased book?
No. Upload a readable file you are authorized to use. Binge Reader does not bypass store protection.
Why is my uploaded book still processing?
Large files and conversions can take longer. Keep the page open long enough to see the final status, then retry only if the upload reports a failure.
