Add the book to a collection, turn on Sync to Kobo for that collection, and confirm EPUB is the book’s primary file. Run Sync on the Kobo, then download the Binge Reader-delivered copy from the Kobo library.
Make the book eligible
The book must be present in a library you can access, allowed by your content filters, and have EPUB as its primary format. A PDF, audiobook, or an EPUB stored only as a secondary file will not follow the Kobo delivery route.
Use a synced collection
Create or open a collection, add the books, and enable Sync to Kobo. The collection name also becomes a Kobo shelf or tag. Removing a book from every synced collection removes its entitlement on a later device sync.
Open the delivered copy
Sync the Kobo and download the title that arrives through the connected account. Use this copy instead of a manually sideloaded duplicate when you want precise progress and highlight movement.
The details, at a glance.
| Consider | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Collection | Sync to Kobo enabled |
| Book state | Present and not filtered out |
| Primary file | EPUB |
| Device copy | Downloaded through the Binge Reader connection |
A few things worth asking.
Why does the book not appear?
Check the collection toggle, access, content filters, present status, and primary EPUB file. Then run Sync again.
Why does a deleted Kobo book return?
If it remains in a synced collection, Binge Reader can offer it again. Remove it from synced collections before the next device sync.
