THE SHORT ANSWER

Sign in to Binge Reader in Safari, open a book, and read in the web reader. Add Binge Reader to the Home Screen for quicker access. Open books while online before a trip so supported reader data can be available again offline.

01

Start in Safari

Use the same Binge Reader account as your other devices. Open a current book and adjust font, margins, and spacing. Closing or leaving the reader after a test passage gives the app a clean chance to save state.

02

Add a Home Screen shortcut

Use Safari’s Share action and choose Add to Home Screen. Launching from the icon provides an app-like window while keeping the managed library and shared Binge Reader reading state.

03

Prepare for offline time

Open the title you plan to read while connected and confirm it loads. Offline support is a cache, not a substitute for a backup. Reconnect and let saved activity synchronize before continuing the same book on another device.

A few things worth asking.

Do I need to copy the book into Apple Books?

No. Reading in the Binge Reader web reader keeps the book and supported reading state in Binge Reader.

What if I read offline on two devices?

Reconnect one device at a time and inspect the saved place. Avoid assuming the furthest percentage is always the position you want.
