Your library, your starting point.
This planner creates a sequence for preparing, piloting, and verifying a migration. It does not connect to your accounts or move files. Download the resulting checklist and work through it at your own pace.
Before the first import
Make a separate backup and capture a title count. Record annotations outside the files if your current app keeps them separately. A migration is easier to verify when you know what “complete” looked like at the start.
Move a pilot shelf
Use ten varied titles, including a series and a heavily annotated book. Compare metadata, readability, file identity, and export behavior. If the pilot fails, you have a small problem to investigate instead of a whole library to untangle.
Keep the old copy until verification
Do not retire the source just because the upload completed. Open the destination files and exported notes, reconcile counts, and retain an untouched backup before changing your daily reading routine.
The details, at a glance.
| Consider | What to look for |
|---|---|
| Prepare | Inventory and independent backup |
| Pilot | Representative books and annotations |
| Verify | Counts, content, metadata, and export |
| Continue | Move batches after the pilot passes |
A few things worth asking.
Does this tool upload my library?
No. It only uses the options you select to create a checklist in this browser.
Can I change the plan?
Yes. Change any answer and generate a fresh plan; the download reflects the current selection.
